I first saw 10 Things I Hate About You my first quarter of college at a movie night in the Muir dorms. Everyone was really surprised that I’d never seen it before, especially as a child of the 90s. I’ve since rewatched it countless times, and it’s now one of my favorite movies.
Over the years, I find myself relating more and more to Kat Stratford - I see myself in her cynicism, bitterness, feminism, independence, past emotional trauma, defensiveness, love for music and literature, and ability to get completely smashed and make a fool of herself at a party.
Likes: Thai food, feminist prose and angry girl music of the Indie Rock persuasion.
One of my favorite quotes. This is definitely on the rewatch list for this winter break!
